Python at OpenTechSchool

A session at Python Users Berlin: Python at OpenTechSchool

Thursday 8th August, 2013

7:00pm to 8:30pm (CET)

OpenTechSchool is a community initiative offering free programming workshops and meetups to technology enthusiasts of all genders, backgrounds and experience levels. The talk will tell you more about the initiative and its core values, explaining how OTS can be such an amazing experience to dive into, as a coach or as a learner.

We will particularly focus on one of the first and most flourishing topics coached at the OpenTechSchool: Python! You'll learn more about our Python beginners workshops, on the ongoing curriculum building process, on our global community of coaches (in 5 locations so far); but also on our new initiatives such as collaboration with the PyLadies, the OpenTechSchool Continuous Python Learning Group, and how we plan to introduce badges for our learners to keep track of their progress.
