Brian Sletten's REST and Resource-Oriented Architecture Bootcamp

A session at Brian Sletten's REST and Resource-Oriented Architecture Bootcamp

Monday 4th March, 2013

12:00am to 12:00am (GMT)

Brian Sletten's 3-day REST and Resource-Oriented Architecture Bootcamp provides a broad, example driven and compelling vision of computing's future. In this course, you will learn how the technical and business value of Web semantics is available and useful today behind firewalls as well as on the public Web. This course will also help you understand how tensions between the business and technical sides of the house can be mediated by adopting technologies that provide information-focused, business-friendly solutions that grow with the organisation and its changing business needs.

Brian Sletten is a software engineer with a focus on forward-leaning technologies. He is the President of Bosatsu Consulting, Inc., a professional services company focused on web architecture, resource-oriented computing, the Semantic Web, scalable systems, security consulting and other technologies of the late 20th and early 21st Centuries. Brian's experience has spanned defense, finance and commercial domains with security consulting, network matrix switch controls, 3D simulation/visualization, Grid Computing, P2P and Semantic Web-based systems.
