logstash - open source log processing and analytics

There are a number of problems with traditional log management. Most problems are ignored or solved with duct-tape and glue. This talk will summarize many of those problems and consequences. It will further discuss solutions to some of these problems and present logstash as a general-purpose, free, and open source tool for going from a situation where your logs simply exist to fill up disk to an awesome implementation where your business a generates value from your logs.
