A session at SharePoint Saturday Austin

Saturday 2nd March, 2013

3:20pm to 4:20pm (CST)

The Content Query web part in SP 2010 offers a fantastic way for you to use your data in unique ways without code. When you combine this web part with content types, metadata and audience targeting you have a great way to organize personalized access to the information you and your users need, regardless of where the data may exist in the site collection and without being a programmer!

This session will show end-users the basics of using this powerful out of the box web part, with real world examples to solve business needs, such as audience-targeted communications, calendars, content owner-maintenance views, dashboards and more. Kim will wrap up with tips and tricks for end users to get the most out of this awesome web part.
