In this session Talbott will describe how to build a provider-hosted app for SharePoint 2013. SharePoint 2013 app model offers three kinds of hosting SharePoint-hosted (JavaScript only), Auto-hosted (for Office 365 and hosting in Azure), and Provider-hosted. Provider-hosted allows developers to build apps in any language on any platform PHP+Linux, LAMP, Java/Oracle, Azure, F#, Hadoop, or any system that can make REST calls.
