Agile SharePoint: Notes from the field

A session at SharePoint Saturday DC - June 2013

Saturday 8th June, 2013

2:15pm to 3:30pm (EST)

Agile is a methodology gaining in popularity which can lend itself well to SharePoint implementations.  However, it is often misunderstood or misinterpreted.  In this session, I will share my experiences with SCRUM (an Agile framework), some of the challenges and pitfalls of adopting and implementing an Agile methodology, and why I think it is aptly suited for SharePoint engagements.   As it relates to SharePoint, I’ll discuss my experiences with development sprints and how I addressed architecture, documentation, user experience, infrastructure, testing and governance.  This is not a primer.
