Site Collection Administrators: Who Are They and Why Should I Be One?

A session at SharePoint Saturday NYC 2013

Saturday 27th July, 2013

8:30am to 9:45am (EST)

Administrators are busy people with many responsibilities. Sometimes they are hard to reach and often don’t work on our schedules. One way to ease their burden is to work towards becoming a Site Collection Administrator. At first, they will be apprehensive. Remember, if you accidentally break it they’ll probably have to fix it!” We’ll discuss the Site Collection Administrator super power rights, what can go wrong and what can go right. We’ll also talk about how you can prove your knowledge before you’re given the keys to your Site Collection Kingdom.
