This panel will explore these democratization of high fashion and how it's revolutionized the fashion food chain, from the designers and retailers to customers and their spending behavior. What will the industry look like in 10 years? Who will be the style arbiters? Anchored by a celebrity panel including Nina Garcia, Marie Claire Creative Director and star of Project Runway, and web impresario Randi Zuckerberg, founder of Zuckerberg Media and producer of Bravo's Start-Up, this panel is sure to provoke a lively discussion.

Anne Fulenwider

Editor in Chief, Marie Claire

Anne Fulenwider was named editor-in-chief of the U.S. edition of Marie Claire in September 2012. She oversees all content for the brand's print magazine, website, tablet editions and brand extensions, including Marie Claire @Work and the brand's partnership with Lifetime Television's Project Runway series.

Before taking the editor-in-chief role at Marie Claire, Fulenwider had been editor-in-chief of Brides since October 2011. Prior to that, she served as executive editor of Marie Claire for two years, starting in September 2009. As Marie Claire's executive editor, Fulenwider was instrumental in guiding the editorial direction of the magazine, including its special issues and digital editions.

Previously, Fulenwider served as senior articles editor at Vanity Fair, where she edited Leslie Bennetts, Buzz Bissinger, Dominick Dunne, and others and launched the Fanfair section of the magazine in March 2000. Prior to Vanity Fair, Fulenwider was a senior editor at The Paris Review and served as George Plimpton's research assistant on his book Truman Capote.

Fulenwider graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in English and American Literature from Harvard University in 1995.

Nina Garcia

Creative Dir, Marie Claire

Originally born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Nina Garcia is currently the Creative Director at Marie Claire magazine. To many, she may be best know as the unerring, formidable fashion judge on the Peabody Award-winning hit show, Project Runway.

A New York Times bestselling author of three books on style (The Little Black Book of Style, The One Hundred, and The Style Strategy), Garcia published her fourth book, Nina Garcia's Look Book, in the fall of 2010.

Responsible for covering the designer fashion markets of New York, Milan and Paris, Garcia is an elite authority of the industry, and has cultivated an adoring fan-base of fashion “insiders” as well as those in the general market who flock to her appearances around the country.

Prior to her work with Marie Claire, she worked as Fashion Director at Elle, and prior to that held positions at both Mirabella and Perry Ellis.

A graduate of Boston University, as well as the famed Fashion Institute of Technology, Garcia has always credited her drive and success to her stylish parents, for first showing her the potential of quality design and impeccable fashion.

Randi Zuckerberg

Founder, CEO, Zuckerberg Media

Randi Zuckerberg is the founder and creative director of Zuckerberg Media. As one of the early employees at Facebook, Randi created and ran the social media pioneer's marketing program. She led the company's U.S. election and international politics strategy and created Facebook's livestreaming capability through media partnerships during the 2008 Presidential Inauguration. Randi was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2011 for her innovative coverage of the 2010 mid-term elections that integrated online and TV coverage in unique formats.

Since starting Zuckerberg Media, she has hosted social productions and led the development of projects for BeachMint, the Clinton Global Initiative, Cirque du Soleil, The Tony Blair Faith Foundation and the UN Foundation. Randi has appeared on CNN, Good Morning America, the Today show, Bloomberg News, and ABC's World News. She was also a correspondent for the 2011 Golden Globe Awards and for the World Economic Forum in Davos. She regularly speaks about the future of social media at conferences worldwide. Randi was recently appointed to the United Nations Global Entrepreneurs Council, the World Economic Forum's Global Council on Social Media and the U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors Commission on Innovation.

Randi holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Harvard University and lives in Los Altos with her husband and son.
