Accessibility: automated testing of Javascript

A session at Web-5 Conference 2013

Saturday 15th June, 2013

4:45pm to 5:30pm (PMT)

As web apps become mainstream, web developers tend to use more Javascript than plain old HTML. Consciousness of web accessibility is more and more present, and as a legal requirement, it tends to be ubiquitous. However, mixing Javascript and accessibility is not so easy, nor the associated tests. After a brief overview of what accessibility is (and is not !), we'll see how to bring it into the day-to-day developer's life.
