3:30pm to 4:00pm
Local government entities in Sri Lanka, numbering over 300, govern their respective regions in an autonomous manner, and the local government entities are responsible for a wide range of public service activities. Our consortium was tasked to design and implement a scalable, SaaS oriented system that provides a best practice foundation for re-engineering local workflows and improving public service delivery. The system, eLocal Government (eLG), delivers a centralized infrastructure and interface for e-Government services and interfaces with the existing Sri Lanka Government Network at local government level.
In this session, Mifan will present project requirements, illustrate the eLG SaaS architecture, and explain how WSO2 Stratos, WSO2 Identity Server, WSO2 BAM, and WSO2 BPS where composed to deliver a island-wide citizen and government service user store, enterprise-wide business analytics and auditing, and customized tenant specific workflows. Mifan will describe main architectural sensitivity points in relation to government systems, and the unique requirements that need to be handled to adhere to the existing government processes and re-engineered workflows.
