HTML 101: Because You Were Taught Wrong (Cafe)

A session at Accessibility Camp Los Angeles

Saturday 6th December, 2014

11:00am to 11:45am (PST)

Most of the Web is not accessible. Not because developers don't care, but because we don't know the first thing about making sites accessible.

Come learn (a sampling of) all the things about accessibility.

Look at all these things! Alt text, form labels, table scope, fieldsets, headings, semantics, landmark roles, programmatic relationships, color contrast,
keyboard navigation, focus indication, hover/focus parity, WCAG 2.0, WAI-ARIA, HTML5, WAVE, kitchen sink!
