In this session you will learn how to use CAS SSO as the login method for your Peoplesoft Portal, and you'll also learn how to integrate CAS Server and Microsoft's Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
Bryan and Misagh will cover all the integration and configuration points to easily CASify PeopleSoft with minimal custom. These modifications will
cover changes to the Weblogin web.xml file, changes to the Peoplecode LDAP_AUTHENTICATION() module, configuring the Peoplesoft WEBProfil and the Peopletools security objects. Custom Peoplesoft signout html pages will also be presented.
John will cover several options for integrating your CAS Server with Microsoft's ADFS Server. This is particularly helpful if you are an Office 365 customer or you have client applications that utilized Windows Identity Foundation (WIF) and want to integrate the SSO experience.
At the end of this session you will have all the information you will need to successfully CASify your Peoplesoft Portal and integrate CAS Server and ADFS.
Bryan Wooten has 28 years experience as a software engineer and systems administrator. He started his career writing real time control systems for manufacturing and hospital material handling systems. As a software engineer for Novell he worked on a variety of products including Managewise and as a kernel developer for the processor independent Netware operating system. For the past 8 years he has been a web developer and systems administrator for the University of Utah. He was the key implementer for the University of Utah's CAS single sign on solution as well as the password maintenance applications. For the past three years he has been a member of the University of Utah's IDM team with special emphasis on integrating CAS SSO with commercial and cloud based solutions. He has a BS in Computer Science from Westfield State College in Westfield Massachusetts.
Misagh Moayyed is a software engineer and a member of the identity and access management practice at Unicon, Inc. As an Apereo committer, Misagh has been involved with CAS, uMobile and uPortal projects and is currently a member of the CAS project management committee as well as the CAS application security working group.
