Carla Briceno

Co-Founder of Bixal

Carla Briceno is Co-Founder of Bixal. She works closely with Bixal's clients on the design and execution of successful communications and information technology initiatives. She combines her passion for crafting culturally-relevant communication strategies to engage and connect with the public and hard to reach communities and her knowledge of web and mobile technologies to develop platforms designed to achieve communications goals and transform lives.

Carla’s unique career path includes directing a nonprofit program for Latino immigrants in Southern CA, serving as a Peace Corps in rural Guatemala, supporting international development activities in Latin America, and developing digital strategies to engage the Hispanic Market. This experience has given her an in-depth understanding of the cultural, linguistic, and technical issues to be considered when developing online and mobile solutions for Hispanic audiences in the U.S. & Latin America.

Carla has an M.A. in International Public Administration and Advanced Spanish from the Monterey Institute of International studies, a B.A. in Political Science & International Relations from CSULB & a Certificate in Business Programming from the Chubb Institute.
