[CASE STUDY] Desmond Tutu's Forgiveness Challenge: Engaging the International Audience for Change

For theTutu Global Forgiveness Challenge we rapidly grew a social fan base from zero to over 140,000 in 6 months. Visual content allowed us to reach across language and cultural barriers and create messaging that informed and engaged our fans. This content creates a feeling of community that made it easy for users to join the Forgiveness Challenge and invite their friends to participate as well, with participants from over 160 countries in the challenge.

Leveraging content from Desmond Tutu and his Daughter Mpho as well as from other thought leaders around the world we wove video, audio and graphics together to weave a story, and create discussion. Heavy use of curated content allowed us to bring other voices into the discussion and make it even richer.

You'll learn how to monitor your community dynamically to deliver the most effective content for them, how to evaluate which posts are the most effective and learn more about your audience, how to create shareable graphics and video easily, and you will learn about tools to make content curation easier and effective without spending all day doing it.
