Personalized Learning Through Assessment

A session at Bring IT, Together 2014

Thursday 6th November, 2014

11:00am to 11:50am (EST)

There is a personal side to assessment. Every one of our students depends on us to help them move forward and reach their goals. Technology, used thoughtfully, can help us determine student needs and next steps.

When technology is used as a tool to help students gain perspective, they can begin to assess themselves and help others learn. This presentation will cover student blogging, Google+ communities and Google forms, and how they are used as tools to support personalized learning. Assessment and feedback will be highlighted throughout the presentation, to complement the Ministry’s Growing Success document.
