Lights, Cameras, Action! Film Making in the classroom

A session at Bring IT, Together 2014

Thursday 6th November, 2014

11:00am to 11:50am (EST)

By now, most of your students are bringing their cell phones into the classroom. Those cell phones also have video cameras on them. It is time to bring the magic of cinematography into your class! I know, this is all very exciting, but hold up. Before you assign wonderful film projects for every class you teach, you should probably learn the basics so your students make watchable films. I will go over some simple principles that will allow your students to make better films. I will also share some film making ideas that have worked well with my students. If there is time, we may even make a film ourselves!
