Things That Go "Beep!"

A session at Bring IT, Together 2014

Thursday 6th November, 2014

3:00pm to 3:50pm (EST)

I have long loved electronic music and have often wondered: "How can I incorporate sound and music into a Computer Engineering class?"

Using the Arduinio I have been developing project ideas such as building MIDI controllers and synths (using the Mozzi sound library for generating sound). I have also been exploring the possibilities of using the Raspberry Pi and Processing.

I will explore how these projects could be used with some open source music software and Apple's Garageband.
