Teachers often find themselves overwhelmed with the task of collecting accurate data about their students. A broad range of information needs to be organized, analyzed, and communicated so that students can be provided with timely feedback and parents can monitor their child's learning.
This session is suited for educators looking to take their student data, as outlined in the Growing Success document (observations, conversations, products), and effectively communicate their results. Using a variety of Google Apps for Education tools (including Forms, Sheets, Scripts, and Gmail) teachers will be able to produce meaningful progress reports for parents, provide an accurate snapshot of a student's progress in a course, and organize daily observational notes focused on student learning skills.
