MySQL's NoSQL -- best of both words on the same disks

A session at Fossetcon 2014

Saturday 13th September, 2014

2:40pm to 3:20pm (EST)

MySQL has the ability to store data as a key/value pair via the memcached protocol into a InnoDB or NDB storage engine and it is NINE TIMES faster than SQL. But the access to the same data to SQL is retained and you gain a persistent memcache store. The best of both worlds on the same disks.
