A Visual Lexicon: Designing Large-scale, Maintainable Systems for the Web

A session at Future of Web Design

Tuesday 8th April, 2014

11:30am to 12:10pm (GMT)

In this session Robin will be exploring why teams require pattern libraries and highly detailed design components in order to help us clarify their objectives. Without concise documentation of these systems, other team members will struggle understanding what these components do, how they work and why they fit into the rest of the system. On the way we’ll learn about the unexpected challenges of designing and developing front-end systems for large projects and we’ll take a look at the problems that other systems face on a regular basis too.
