¿Cómo contar historias con sensores? \ Storytelling through sensors

A session at Hacks/Hackers BA Media Party 2014

Thursday 28th August, 2014

4:15pm to 7:00pm (CMT)

Nivel General: Medio.
Target: Periodistas, Hackers

This workshop is designed to understand Arduino/Raspberry and its possibilities of enriching your storytelling strategies. It will bring together exercises of conceptualization and examples of projects that combine data (obtained through sensors) with clear visualizations.

“Sensors are changing the way we tell stories by allowing us to retrieve relevant information and tell better stories. What are the limits of these technologies? How can we turn data into a visualization that allows us to tell a story? How hard is it to get started?”
During this workshop, we will put together devices that will enable us to tell stories in the Media Party.

Level: Medium.
Target: Journalists, Hackers
Language: Spanish
Skills: for programerss: NodeJS, Socket.io y D3. For journalists: none required.
Requirements: Bring your own Arduino devices and sensors
Experience: No previous experience is required.
