Measurement & Analysis - Big Data: Measuring the Impact of Content

A session at Intelligent Content Conference 2014

Thursday 27th February, 2014

10:45am to 11:30am (PST)

Big Data...it's on everyone's lips, recently. You probably think of it as something that concerns only Google (an internet's worth of Web pages for searching) or Amazon (Petabytes+ of customer data for storing in the cloud) or Twitter and Facebook (unimaginable amounts of social posts and tweets). In fact, every day, 2.5 billion gigabytes of high-velocity data are created in a variety of forms, such as information gathered in sensors and medical devices, and transaction records -- but also in the form of CONTENT: social media posts, videos, articles, and documents of all types.

Big data can address a multitude of problems if you know how to use it: help organizations deepen customer engagement, optimize operations, prevent threats and fraud, and capitalize on new sources of revenue. It can also help those of us concerned about content to determine how impactful that content really is.

Join Andrea to learn about the characteristics of big data (and big data analytics), the skills required to get the most from it, how it can be used to measure the impact of content, and what's needed to harness the right data about your content to determine its impact.
