A session at Intelligent Content Conference 2014

Thursday 27th February, 2014

2:45pm to 3:30pm (PST)

Personalization is an aspect of content strategy, and you cannot address personalization without addressing intelligent content. In today’s world, you also cannot address personalization its entirety without reviewing it through the lens of omnichannel experiences. And in the ever evolving context of content for emerging technologies, a definitive understanding and approach to personalization is critical to fulfilling customers’ and users’ needs . In this presentation, we will review best practices in developing content strategy framework for personalization in an omnichannel universe. We will answer the following:
1. What do we mean by personalization and omnichannel?
2.Why is a strategy absolutely critical for both and how do you develop it?
3.How do you build a content strategy roadmap for personalization?
4.How do you launch, maintain and evolve personalization?
5.Vis-à-vis a customer journey, what are the various unique channel considerations (E.g., for Smartphone, Tablet, Desktop, In-store, Packaging, etc)?
6.How do you future proof personalization methods against emerging technology?
From this presentation, the audience will be able to understand how content strategy is a key component to personalization and considerations to build out a personalization approach for omnichannel content experiences.
