This session will cover the different methods used to make SQL Server highly available as well as protect your SQL Server instance in the event of a disaster. We will compare the pros and cons of each technology and discuss design decisions when choosing a technology. We will cover clustering, log shipping, mirroring, and AlwaysOn Availability groups.

Different technologies available in SQL Server
Limitations and use cases for each technology
Information to take back to your organization to make recommendations for a solid HA/DR plan
