The magnetism of motion graphics: the attractive force linking art and technology

A session at Multi-Mania 2014

Tuesday 20th May, 2014

10:45am to 11:30am (WET)

As motion graphics is becoming ever more accessible in terms of skill requirement and budget, creatives now have the power to unleash their inner geek and break out from classic animation techniques. Designers and animators have the opportunity to not only find alternative ways to execute projects, but new ways of presenting visuals and motion.

While motion graphics has always been a mash-up of creativity and technology, Fred Huergo, Motion Graphics Lead and VFX Supervisor at international creative agency SuperHeroes, argues that the future lies in the marriage of these two disciplines and will even reveal his recipe to generate 3D pasta using mathematical formulas.
