Painless iOS testing

A session at Painless iOS testing

Friday 2nd August, 2013

6:30pm to 8:00pm (GMT)

Automated testing should be one of the building block of any iOS project. Unfortunately, it's usually perceived as a painful process and ignored by both stakeholders, project managers and developers.

In this hands-on session, Paul will explore the various testing tools available and will dabble into the magical world of behavior-driven development. He'll also make a parallel with the world of Ruby/Rails and explain why BDD makes one's work enjoyable and helps him/her sleep at night.

Takeaways:

what is good testing
what is behavior-driven development
RSpec, Cucumber and other useful gems
BDD for iOS and OS X
automated UI testing
