Self-Service BI with Power BI
This is a full day of intensive training designed to provide you with the required knowledge to design and create Business Intelligence solutions leveraging the latest version of Microsoft self-service BI tools: Excel & Power BI. You will learn how to use Power Query for Excel to explore, collect a combine data from heterogeneous sources. Then you will use state of the art in-memory analytics with Power Pivot for Excel to create data models and calculations . You will also see how to create interactive data visualizations within Excel using Power View. Finally, we will look into the collaboration and sharing capabilities of BI content offered by Office 365 and Power BI.

There are no pre-requisites for this course
Attendees are not required to have Power BI but they are encouraged to bring their laptops with the required software installed if they want to follow examples and demos. Excel 2013 with Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View and Power Maps. Excel 2010 can be used for Power Query and Power Pivot exercises.
