You will have the chance to meet with seasoned industry professionals to discuss these topics and share your own experiences.

Mike studied Interactive Multimedia with a focus on human-computer interactions in the United Kingdom. While completing his degree, he planned and hosted usability tests for a digital library building tool associated with the New Zealand Digital Library project at the University of Waikato.
Mike has previously worked as a user interface designer for a computer hardware manufacturer, and now helps create software for Trend Micro. He has recently started establishing guidelines for mobile apps to increase efficiency during the development process while maintaining consistency and a quality user experience across different products. Mike has also earned a Scrum Master certificate and takes a strong interest in Lean Development.

Hsin studied psychology & ergonomics with a focus on human-computer interaction in both Taiwan and the United States. Her career in product design and usability research began in the American financial industry, specializing in trading stocks and funds.
Hsin now works in Taipei as the user experience director for Trend Micro, one of the world’s top three Internet security firms, and the leading cloud security company. Last year, Hsin became the site director for the entire research and development team in Taiwan. In addition to that role, she continues to lead a talented and passionate global team of user interface and visual designers, front-end developers, usability researchers, and technical writers spread across Taiwan, China, Japan, and the United States. This team produces a wide variety of email, web, intranet, desktop, and mobile security applications for both consumer and commercial customers. Her day-to-day inspiration comes working together with great people to deal with the ever-changing challenges of the security business.
In her spare time, Hsin enjoys tennis, badminton, fencing, and cycling.
