The DevOps movement has been taking the software world by storm over the last 5 or so years. By bringing down the barriers between developers and operations, DevOps seeks to get 'the last mile' of software delivery right- getting working software out in front of customers quickly and reliably.
In this talk, we go back to first principles to look at why DevOps is useful, the results it can produce, and what it means for the cultural and technical practices of your organisation. Rather than focus on specific tools or technologies, we will examine the core of DevOps, and how it can bring you closer to the lofty goal of Continuous Delivery.
