Please join Unicon for hands-on practice and demonstration of SSP version 2.6 during the technical demos and showcase. Users will have the ability to create their own SSP test drive account to move through and test the application at their own pace.
SSP Implementation Manager
Craig Harry is a Senior Technical Project Manager for Unicon, the leading independent provider of open source training, consulting, and support in higher education.
Mr. Harry has 16 years of project management experience focused on the development, implementation, and integration of software solutions across the publishing, education and technology industries. He is currently in a consultative management role for a large Unicon publishing client and a senior project manager for implementations of Student Success Plan, an open source holistic advising and academic planning application. Mr. Harry has extensive knowledge and experience in the integrations space and the resulting effect on operations, as well as leading software development and quality assurance teams.
Mr Harry's client experience while at Unicon has ranged from educational publishers such as Pearson Education to colleges and universities such as Broward College and St. Petersburg College. Most recently, Mr. Harry has assisted both St. Petersburg College and Broward College (FL) implement holistic advising and student success strategies to improve student retention, success, and graduation rates, as well as complete integrations with existing systems to allow faculty to early alert advisors on student performance issues. Prior to that, Mr. Harry managed integration projects for Pearson Education, delivering dozens of integrated solutions for Pearson clients such as NYC's K-12 iLearn project, Apollo/University of Phoenix, and Western Governor's University (WGU).
Prior to joining Unicon in 2010, Mr. Harry worked in both the consulting and operations arenas within the publishing industry, most of that time (9 years) as Director of Premedia Technology for Primedia (now SourceInterlink Media). He was responsible for identifying, customizing and implementing technology solutions that streamlined production, created operational efficiencies and reduced costs.
Mr. Harry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University, Fullerton. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), an Agile Certified Practiioner (PMI-ACP), and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). Mr. Harry lives in Phoenix, AZ with his wife and daughter.
