Stream Processing with Apache Flink

A session at Big Data TechCon Chicago 2015

In this technical class we will peel back the covers and take a deep dive into the inner workings of the Apache Flink. We will discuss in detail the DataStream API, Stream Builder, the Flink Runtime, transformations, and stream connectors. After this talk you will be ready to take on the world of stream processing using Apache Flink. To be successful in this class you will need to have an understanding of Java and/or Scala, but you do not need to have any previous experience with a Flink or any other stream-processing framework.
