Using iPads for Assessment

A session at BIT15 - Bring IT,Together 2015

Thursday 5th November, 2015

4:00pm to 4:50pm (EST)

iPads are increasingly being used for student projects, collaboration, and content creation in classroom today. This session will demonstrate some interesting ways to assess student learning. We will look at screen casting apps such as Educreations, visual presentation apps such as Picollage, and collaboration applications such as Google docs. Will will learn how to use these tools for effective assessment and planning. Examples will be shared using recursive math and oral language skills. Come see some real life samples from a primary French Immersion program and a junior Special Education program.
