Marking Essays Through Technology

A session at BIT15 - Bring IT,Together 2015

Thursday 5th November, 2015

4:00pm to 4:50pm (EST)

Need a different way to mark smarter? Google add-ons have made marking essay papers easier. If you are using google classroom you can provide effective, written and verbal feedback prior or at final submission with add-ons (best part everything is saved and you don't have to keep track of the paper). Using add-on's like: speech recognition, Kaizena, Texthelp Study Skills, text reader and a bit of best practice ideas in your google classroom you can provide fast clear effective feedback to your students that won't end up in the recycle bin. Why not use technology to advance our marking? It may not be scantron, but it's a step in the right direction.
