Leading a school staff to effectively integrate technology in their teaching practice can sometimes be a challenge. Join two Vice-Principals from the TDSB who will share some of their strategies to effectively support their staff transform their schools from traditional to modern learning environments. Topics of discussion will include supporting Professional Learning through the SAMR model, modeling best practices through the use of Google Apps in day to day school administration, and nurturing Global Professional Learning Networks through Twitter and other online learning. Participants are encouraged to share their best practices as well, to support one another in growing our own professional learning network and be more effective school leaders.
We encourage participants to BYOD as we will be sharing Google Docs, go live on Twitter, and other online environments where they can connect and participate digitally, as well as share their own best practices in a shared folder.
