Ever wondered what your customers will want 1, 3, or 5 years from now? Ever wondered what your company needs to look like to meet these future needs? Well, you aren’t alone…from organisations to whole industries, people are investing large amounts of money trying to guess the future in the hope that the changes they make will help them meet constantly evolving customer needs, changes in technology and social attitudes. The alarming pace of disruption is motivating people to ask questions about the future. Unfortunately there is no crystal ball that will tell you exactly what the future will hold, and future-casting is comically inaccurate. However, there are a number of approaches you can use to form an educated guess on what the world might be like in the near future.
