An evening showcasing some of the world’s most contemporary creatives starting with superstar Parisian illustrator Malika Favre. Malika rose to prominence working at legendary London studio Airside (Co-founded by a Mr Fred Deakin) but has spread her own wings working for clients such as The New Yorker, Vogue, BAFTA, Sephora and Penguin Books, amongst many others.
Hudson-Powell was formed in 2005 by brothers Luke Powell and Jody Hudson-Powell. Coming from a graphic design and technology background the studio has a broad and multi-disciplinary approach to design and branding. Clients include Coca-Cola, Nickelodeon, University of the Arts London, Wolff Olins and Canteen. We welcome HP at an exciting time as they join Pentagram as partners, the youngest creatives ever to do so in the agencies history.
Topping off the evening is Fred Deakin, Co-founder of Lemon Jelly and Airside, currently Professor of Interactive Digital Arts at University of the Arts London. Fred has always been at the cutting-edge of design and music, from the Mercury Nominated Lemon Jelly to the hugely influential studio Airside (Where Malika once worked) Fred now is now shaking up how art and design is taught so expect an in-depth and candid conversation.
This evening gives you the opportunity to discover the people and process behind the work but to also get involved with a Q&A session.
