They say that hindsight is 20-20, which means you’d make the right decision every time if you had the right knowledge before you made the decision. I’m not saying that you have to be smarter than your peers, I’m certainly not, or work harder than your peers, I certainly don’t. What I’m saying is that I focus on learning the right things both first hand and second hand to help me understand the things that lay before me. By gathering the right knowledge and the right mentors around you, you can make technical, business and personal decisions with far more confidence and accuracy than you ever have before, using their hindsight as your foresight.
In this talk, Josh Holmes will run through some of the top things that he’s learned from mentors over time, dive into how you can proactively seek the right mentors and ask the right questions for success.
