St. Clair Catholic District School Board - Google Apps For Education

A session at ECNO Conference 2015 - Conférence ECNO 2015

Tuesday 2nd June, 2015

9:45am to 10:30am (EST)

5 years ago St Clair Catholic District School Board migrated away from a paid FirstClass server and moved to Google Apps for Education (GAFE). We not only saved on the cost of an email system, we were able to see additional savings with less hardware and utilizing Google instead of a third party SPAM filter.

We will outline the methods we used to move users with as little disruption as possible This session will also show how we are supporting continued growth with new Apps and services such as Google Classroom.
We are using Google Active Directory Sync (GADS) to maintain accounts and decrease the demand on IS for account maintenance.
