The services that customers expect to receive from their staffing suppliers have become increasingly sophisticated over the past decade. From preferred supplier, to sole supplier, to master vendor and MSP, the onward march of contingent programme complexity has been relentless. And now we're about to witness a new and, perhaps, the most radical evolution: Total Talent Management (TTM). TTM describes an approach whereby organisations think about talent in the broadest sense, incorporating both employed and non-employed labour.
Today, organisations mostly operate in silos when making decisions about what is the most effective way to get work done, but TTM offers a more holistic and proactive approach that can enable organisations to meet their workforce challenges and gain a competitive advantage. For suppliers, TTM implies that MSP and RPO blend (as do the technologies that underpin them; VMS and ATS) which, in itself, presents a significant strategic challenge. But what are the other challenges and opportunities that this development would present for the staffing industry? The issues may be broader and more complex than you suppose. Belinda Johnson and John Nurthen will provide practical advice to ensure your company is prepared for the next workforce revolution.
