The Reactive Loop, Sébastien Cevey, June 2015

15 June 2015

Currently in read only mode, sorry about that, please try again in a few hours.

This time we have Sébastien Cevey talking to us about reactive programming!

The Guardian has been experimenting with a new approach to web application architecture based on uni-directional reactive streams. After describing the challenges of traditional design patterns, this talk will feature live coding of a simple but rich user interface using nothing but the virtual-dom and RxJS libraries.

At FunctionalJS we practise (bring a laptop) and hear about functional programming with JavaScript.

At each meetup we run a dojo. No experience with FP needed, we're all here to learn! Bring a laptop.

We're going to be at Twitter's UK office in Piccadilly Circus (thanks Tweetdeck & Twitter!). They're very kindly supplying the beer and soft drinks for us, too!

Make sure you get a ticket from eventbrite!
