Connected Transportation for Big Data Collection

A session at IoT Conference May 4-5 2015, Santa Clara, CA, USA

  • Roman Kuropas

Tuesday 5th May, 2015

9:00am to 9:40am (PST)

Environmental sustainability has always been a driving force in Roman Kuropas’ career. As founder and CEO of Innova UEV, Roman strives to make 100% electric, 4G LTE connected zero-emission vehicles more accessible to universities, corporate campuses and municipalities — entities that are constantly seeking ways to boost their environmental credentials. The vehicles will be rolling platforms for collecting Big Data on traffic patterns, air quality, noise levels, and more. Almost any type of data can be monitored and transmitted since Innova UEV's are a "bolt on" platform for sensor technology.

Roman and his Inverom team have also contributed to the design and engineering of instrument clusters, telematics and LCD touch screen displays for companies like Fisker, Tesla, Westport, AC Propulsion and Case New Holland.
