Power Workshops: Hands-on IoT workshop

A session at Internet of Things Conference Spring 2015

Monday 23rd March, 2015

1:30pm to 6:00pm (CET)

Following this motto we will approach and unveil the hidden world of the Internet of Things. During the workshop, participants will be guided through the understanding of the basic principles of the IoT paradigm, with a hands-on approach. In four hours we will create simple tweeting devices using one of the best tools available today to start creating connected objects, and learning about sensors and data transmission, the Arduino Yún. Participants will also be introduced to Temboo, a very handy service that gives makers a set of easy software tools to integrate functionalities from the most used APIs into an hardware project. By the end of the workshop we will have connected devices tweeting from all around the conference venue!
