Indigenous Cultural Awareness Intensive Training

A session at Konnect Learning's Dare To Know Seminars

  • Russell Logan

"Indigenous Cultural Awareness Intensive Training" is a course brought to you by Konnect Learning. The purpose behind it is to ensure better cooperation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people not belonging to those groups. This course deals with history, community, customs, heritage, and so on. The course is divided into two parts: morning and afternoon, starting from 9 am and ending at 5 pm. The first part deals with fast-tracking cultural and historical knowledge: what makes these people who they are, what is their identity. The second part is related to culturally-competent problem solving and teamwork, meaning how to come to productive and pleasant outcomes through mutual respect.
