Future of Consulting

A session at Lean Agile Scotland 2015

Thursday 8th October, 2015

4:55pm to 5:15pm (GMT)

Most companies continue to engage consultancies or consultants in one form or another. Although some people question their role and value this is likely to continue so this paper looks at the current dominant consulting models that have been commonly. This is based on Soft System Methodology and the issues that are typically encountered are explored. It then moves on to outline an alternative approach that leverages naturalised sense making and managed learning to propose a revised engagement model and how this could operate.
