Our presentation covers migrating multiple repositories into Islandora, tools for handling the requirements of different content types and sources, how we’re addressing the impacts of our consolidation, and future plans for incorporating additional repositories. We will describe new developments for finding aids, which include uploading batches of digital objects and displaying them within the collection inventory as well as custom support for searching and browsing; tools and scripts for importing any hierarchy of collections and objects, eg. from DSpace; support for customized collection and record display; and managing exhibitions on separate Islandora instances with one Fedora installation.
