Knowledge management [KM] can create a more dynamic and responsive library by streamlining organization-wide and intra-departmental knowledge sharing and communication. Through a unified and holistic approach, it is possible to achieve widespread adoption of KM best practices and implement a user-friendly and cohesive technological KM infrastructure. Session attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the successes and obstacles associated with a library-wide KM initiative. The session will focus on changes to organizational culture, workflow, selection of appropriate technology applications, and deploying technical solutions to achieve maximum benefit. In addition, the presenter will discuss assessment techniques and results.
