With the proliferation of illicit activity in the maritime arena increasingly in the media spotlight, not least the issue of human trafficking; international coast guards, navies and government authorities are facing mounting pressure to enhance capability and enhance it fast.
Maritime Reconnaissance and Surveillance comes at a pivotal time in the international maritime domain in which over 20,000 migrants have illegally crossed the Mediterranean resulting in over 1,700 deaths so far in this year alone (May, 2015). This event will be addressing the urgent requirement to increase ISR capabilities in Europe and beyond as it moves across to London.
