1:15pm to 1:15pm
Code PaLOUsa was founded several years ago by a group of software industry professionals that had a vision of a grand software conference in their hometown. Little did they know just what they got themselves into, but since then Code PaLOUsa has seen tremendous growth and is one of those annual events you just cannot miss. Just what exactly goes into planning, preparing, executing, and closing down a conference event? This is what Chad Green, Code PaLOUsa’s founder and conference chair, will talk about during this presentation. Chad will take you through what it took to get the event off the ground along with the processes and tools used to manage the event. Through this case study you will see how a project manager was able to improve his “day job” by taking on a different kind of project.
Chairman of Code PaLOUsa, organizer of the Louisville .NET Meetup group, and Technical Delivery Team Manager with HP Enterprise Services.
