Aside from relatively well-known use cases in Digital Marketing and Finance, automated decisions based on predictive applications are being used in more traditional industries and back-end processes. Blue Yonder is building predictive applications for these complex, high-impact processes such as pricing, replenishment or maintenance. In his talk, Lars Trieloff, Director of Product Management for Blue Yonder will show how predictive applications are being used in replenishment optimization, what challenges (machine-learning, technical, and organizational) lie ahead and what benefits can be expected.
