Peruse-China Design Pop-up Bookshop and Book Binding Exhibition

A session at Peruse-China Design Pop-up Bookshop and Book Binding Exhibition

BE INSPIRED - For London's thriving creative community - art directors, graphic designers, fashion designers, architects, product designers, film directors, lecturers, broadcasters, journalists in the creative and arts sector, China watchers, design enthusiasts and book retailers

In April 2015, China Design Centre will hold a two weeks long pop-up"Chinese Design Books" at its venue in The Building Centre.

Over the last year, China Design Centre has carefully selected and curated this pop-up shop, purely focusing on design books and literature, to help provide professional designers, design journalists, marketers, creatives and design enthusiasts a platform for the sharing of design ideas, something which is core to the heart of China Design Centre's work.

The Design Reading Week coincides with the world renowned London Book Fair to celebrate the benefit of reading and Chinese design.

Visitors will be encouraged to browse, discuss and reflect over the magazines, books and other forms of literature across the subjects of architecture design, graphic design, fashion design and more. During and after the event, publications will be available for purchase in-store and online.

We will also take this opportunity to celebrate the art of book making. Working with art group - Artron, we selected over 100 different book binding techniques, from ancient China to modern days, to be exhibited during our 2 weeks bookshop event.

Don’s miss out, reserve your ticket now on Eventbrite.
